Rohan has extensive experience in the field of intellectual property, information technology law and media law. He has experience in the field of IP litigation, prosecution, licensing and assignment, media advisory and commercial dispute resolution. Rohan also has experience with policy advisory in the field of intellectual property, competition law and information technology.
Prior to joining the Firm, Rohan had an independent legal practice in Chennai, where he assisted clients on various issues relating to intellectual property and commercial laws. His past experience includes working with Amarchand Mangaldas as part of their intellectual property practice and their competition policy team in New Delhi, and with CSE and CENTAD, New Delhi on areas of intellectual property policy and reporting. Rohan is admitted to practise law in India.
Rohan has a B.A., LL.B (Hons.) from the NALSAR University, Hyderabad, (2004), and a LLM from Columbia University, USA (2009), (Lawrence A. Wein Fellow).
Apart from the law, Rohan is a fan of science fiction books and table-top games. He also tries his hand at fishing, creative writing, singing and playing the guitar.
